ドイツ：歴史的なトランス権利法の採決
（ベルリン、2024年4月12日）―ドイツ議会は2024年4月12日、トランスジェンダーおよびノンバイナリーの人々が行政手続によって、自己識別に基づく性自認に法的性別変更を認める法律を可決した。 この新法は、1980年にドイツで制定された時代遅れの性転換者法（Transsexuellengesetz）に代わるもので、同法ではトランスジェンダーの人々に対し、申請者が以前の法的性別に戻る意思がないことを「高い確率で」証明する2通の「専門家文書」を地元裁判所に提出することが義務付けられてきた。ドイツ憲法裁判所は以前、性別認定における手術要件など、本法律の過酷な要件の一部を無効と判示している。 ヒューマン・ライツ・ウォッチのLGBT権利部シニア調査員クリスティアン・ゴンザレス・カブレラは、「性別認定に医療手続を含むことは多様な民主主義の社会にはふさわしくない。ドイツは医療手続を廃止する国々に仲間入
