1000年後の気候予測 - mokkei1978’s blog
話題になっている地球温暖化予測に関する論文を読んだので、紹介してみます。タイトルは「Irreversible climate change due to carbon dioxide emissions」で、和訳すると「二酸化炭素排出による不可逆的な気候変動」。*1 で、論文に入る前に、予備知識としてCO2濃度の予測を確認しておきます。 IPCC第3次評価報告書第1作業部会報告書fig.5 世界の産業構造によっていくつかのシナリオが考えられていて*2、このままの経済成長路線を想定したのがA1Bシナリオ(赤実線)。2100年に700ppmを超えると予測されています。これを頭に入れておいて下さい。それでは本論文ですが、これは、気候モデルを使って*3、21世紀中のCO2排出が1000年後にどのような影響を与えるかを調べたものです。特徴的なのは、CO2排出がピークに達したその後は全く排出しない
