[速報] Windows Vista pre-Beta2（build 5231）のIE7、早速分析しました。 IEのタブをサムネール表示する機能が使えるようになった。 IEのRSSリーダー機能が動くようになった。「RSS」と書いてあるアイコンになった。 RSSのAPIが標準搭載され、IEもそれを使うようになった。IEでSubscribeしたRSSを以下のコードでダウンロードすることも可能。当然追加も可能。自動更新もIEの画面から設定可能。更新感覚も個別に設定可能。 var obj = WScript.CreateObject("MSFeeds.Feeds"); var subs = obj.Subscriptions; for (var i=0; i < subs.Feeds.Count; ++i) WScript.Echo(subs.Feeds.Item(i).Download());
VistaのRSSサポート
Windows VistaでRSSのサポートを進めているチームのblogによると、IE 7でのRSSサポートは、RSS Auto-discoveryへの対応やフィードを直接ブラウザで開いたときに読みやすい形になっているなど、Safariのそれに近いものになっている模様です。今後はblogで書きつつ、Publisher向けのガイドのページに蓄積されていくようです。 特にRSS 2.0に限定したというものではなく、Atomもサポートする方向のようです(RSS 1.0はどうだかよくわからない)。RSS 2.0についてのみしか触れられていないことが多いので、RSS 2.0を推奨のように感じますが、それはそれで良い気がします。 また、RSSチームからの推奨として、 良いタイトルをつけること 同じ内容のフィードを複数のフォーマットで提供しないこと 自分が最も読んで欲しいフィードのlink要素を最初に持
