［Azure失敗と対策］仮想マシンが意図せず再起動される
Virtual Machines では、オンプレミス（自社所有）環境と同じ要領で、仮想マシンのインスタンスを作成・利用できる。このため、オンプレミス環境と全く同じ感覚で利用を始めるケースが多い。 ここに、つまずきポイントが隠れている。Virtual Machines のインスタンスはいつ勝手に再起動されても文句をいえない（Virtual Machines のサービスレベルアグリーメント＝ SLA については後述する）。 オンプレミス環境では、業務に極力影響しない時間帯に仮想マシンを再起動するだろう。しかしAzure に限らずパブリッククラウドサービスでは一般に、基盤のメンテナンスはサービス事業者の都合で実施される。 Virtual Machines のインスタンスを1 台だけ使うような、冗長化していないシステムは、Azure 基盤のメンテナンスによって強制的に再起動が掛かると、その間は停止
