In 1934, Ivan Hadzhi-Nikolov passed away in Sofia. Originally from Kukush/Kilkis, he hosted the founding of VMRO in his bookshop in Salonika. Hadzhi-Nikolov escaped to Sofia in 1913, as pretty much all Macedo-Bulgarians from Salonika, and was a book publisher./
