「徴用工」でなく「労働者」＝政府、強制イメージ回避 2018年11月10日15時03分 韓国最高裁が新日鉄住金に対し、戦時中の朝鮮半島出身者への損害賠償を命じた判決を受け、日本政府は原告らの呼称を「朝鮮半島出身労働者」に統一した。従来、こうした労働者は「旧民間人徴用工」と総称していたが、原告らは強制連行されていないことを明確にするためだ。 河野太郎外相は９日の記者会見で、「今回の原告は徴用された方ではない」と強調した。これに先立ち、安倍晋三首相は１日の衆院予算委員会で「今般の原告４人はいずれも募集に応じたものだ」と説明。首相は戦時中の朝鮮半島での動員に(1)募集(2)官によるあっせん(3)徴用－の三つの形態があったとも指摘し、厳密に区別する必要があるとの認識を示した。
