On orders from Russia’s Culture Ministry, Poland’s flag has disappeared from the Katyn war cemetery outside Smolensk. “There can be no flags of Poland at Russian memorials! Esp after openly anti-Russian statements by Polish politicians,” explained Smolensk Mayor Andrey Borisov.
