They're all pretty similar. "Glad" means you're satisfied at the result of something. "I'm glad that my team won." Happy is more general and the most commonly used. "Delighted" is a more intense version of happy and is more formal.
They mean similar things. Frank and candid are more blunt or rude, being honest you can still spare feelings and say it in a different way than being frank or candid. “candid” isn’t typically used in this meaning, it’s more often used when taking an off guard picture. honest: “that shirt isn’t my favorite” frank/candid: “I don’t like that shirt, I wouldn’t buy it if I were you”

@Momo_14 Verify means something that you can just check. You can, for example, verify a person's address or employer. Validate can have different meanings, but in this context it would mean to more deeply confirm something. For example, a university researcher would validate a theory from another scientist.
"is that a thing?" is asking if the action is common. Such as "is that a custom here?"
To leave = to go somewhere, to go without taking, to abandon, etc. It has many uses. I leave home at 9:00am every morning. I leave my books at school. Leave me alone. To exit = to go outside a place. The concert is over, please exit this place. Exit is also a noun, the place where you go out of a place. The exit is to your left. In an emergency, an airplane has many emergency exit doors.
"Given" introduces something with an assumption. "Given that Trump is president, there's not much we can do." "Considering" can be similar similar, but it means "taking into account". "Considering we have run out of potatoes, we better go shopping." You could say "considering Trump is president..." or "given that we have run out..." but the meaning is slightly different.
Underway, they have started and they are progressing. Ongoing, they are continuing. There is an overlap in meaning, but underway usually stresses the fact that it started and keeps going, whereas ongoing usually stresses that it is a continual work that has been going on for a while.
